The White Hart Country Inn is a 16th Century Coaching Inn and is situated on the cobbled street in the market town of Hawes. The whole building has been sympathetically renovated to retain the atmosphere of a traditional Inn but with a fresh, contemporary twist.
We offer 5 beautifully decorated and furnished bedrooms; three king-sized and two twin rooms all have generous en-suite facilities, plasma screen TV’s with DVD & radio, tea & coffee making facilities and large fitted wardrobes. The original sash windows give all the rooms a light & airy feel and pleasant views of the village to the hills beyond.
The open plan bar, with a welcoming wood burning stove, serves local & speciality ales as well having an interesting wine list. By day, you can come in for coffee & scones, read the daily papers, relax with a pint of real ale or enjoy a good selection of home cooked food, which is freshly prepared throughout the day.
The restaurant, with its Vivienne Westwood wallpaper & colourful chandelier, offers an alternative to the bar area. Home Cooked Food is served from 12 noon until 9pm every day.
